For the past 3 years I have been a member of the Board of Directors for the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce. This past Wednesday was my last official duty to MC the weekly luncheon. Our guest speaker was Max Rose, Superintendent of the Washington County School District. The WCSD Foundation is doing a Haunted House to help raise money so some of the WCSD Foundation board members came in costumes.  I snapped a photo of Curtis Jensen and Steve Wilson with Max Rose.

This weekend is the biggest fund raiser for the Chamber with Taste of Dixie. I was the Chairman for organizing this event this year. I am looking forward to great things and big successes.  We initiated a Local Bites portion for the event which has 6 local chefs preparing a special dish and up to 300 patrons can come by and sample the goods.
